Here is the progress on my first sock! I’m using VeryPink.com’s toe-up magic loop worsened weight sock pattern and video tutorials to make this pair. I’m using Ella Rae classic super-wash wool in a green heather color for the yarn. I think I messed up on the short rows a little, but I don’t think it’ll be noticeable in the end. I’ll just be more careful on the second sock.
Did I mention that my parents got my the Knitpicks Harmony wood interchangeable knitting needle sets? Well they did and its awesome. I’m really enjoying working with the set, I just wish they made smaller needles for sock knitting.

How long should a scarf be for a guy who is 6’2” and kinda big boned? I’m making a scarf for my dad for Christmas, but I’m having difficulty judging length. He is drastically taller than me so I can’t really compare… Help?
